Terms and Conditions Gröndals Camping & Stugor
This agreement applies for renting a pitch for a caravan, motorhome, tent or renting accommodation. One car per campsite or accommodation is included. Paid parking is available at reception for extra cars. In the event of an event beyond our control, we reserve the right to move you to equivalent accommodation.
Check-in & Check-out
- Check-in for camping after 1 pm. Check-out no later than 12 pm.
- Check-in for accommodation after 3 pm. Check-out no later than 11 am. Please note, in case of prepaid cleaning of the accommodation, check out no later than 10 am.
Camping Key Europe
We are a member of SCR Swedish Camping. This means that you as a guest need Camping ID or CKE at check-in (does not apply to accommodations)
What is included in the camping price?
The camping price is for a maximum of 6 people (adults and children) and one of the following combinations:
- A caravan with awning/wind protection and a car
- A mobile home with an awning/wind protection
- A tent and a car
For an extra person (adult or child), an extra fee of SEK 50/per person and day is added, A maximum of 2 extra persons is allowed. Electricity is connected with an EU plug and is included in the daily price.
Age limit
To book/enter into an agreement with us, you and your party need to be at least 23 years old. Please note that this does not apply to families with children. Identification may be required upon arrival. Compliance with the age limit is a requirement for access to the pitch.
Booking fee
No booking fee applies to online bookings. Bookings made via phone or email with personal service are subject to a booking fee of SEK 60 per unit.
When will my booking be binding?
The booking will be binding when you receive confirmation/invoice from us in writing, by email or through the booking system on the Internet. Check that the information the booking confirmation corresponds to what you have booked. If there are errors in the confirmation, please inform us as soon as possible. Please note to always follow the payment plan on your invoice.
Charging of Electric Products
Charging equipment in shared areas of the service buildings is not permitted. For safety reasons, charging electric vehicles from our power outlets or accommodation units is strictly prohibited. We refer you to the charging station at Elmacken in Köpingsvik, located directly across the street.
Waste Sorting
To keep the campsite clean and contribute to a better environment, waste sorting is mandatory. Please follow the signs at our recycling station. Food waste must be placed in aseparate food waste bag, and packaging and other waste must be disposed of in the designated containers. Thank you for helping us become a sustainable camping choice.
24-hour sale or return
You can buy on a 24-hour sale-or-return basis if your arrival is more than 7 days away.
When should I pay?
More than 40 days before arrival: 20% of the total amount must be paid within 14 days of receiving the invoice. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 40 days before arrival (see invoice for dates and amounts). After final payment, the booking cannot be shortened.
Less than 40 days before arrival: The full amount must be paid within 14 days, unless otherwise stated. After final payment, the booking cannot be shortened.
Late or Missing Payment
If you do not make the first part-payment on time we have the right to cancel your booking.
If the final payment is late and, despite reminders, you don’t pay the full amount, it will be considered a cancellation on your part, and the cancellation rules will apply.
What happens if I want to leave earlier?
If you choose to depart earlier than your booking says, no refund will be made.
Changes or Rebooking
You may change your booking dates subject to availability. If a booking fee has been paid, the new dates will be settled with a new final invoice. If you move to dates with a higher price, the price difference will be charged. If you move to dates with a lower price, no refund will be made. Changes can only be made within the same calendar year as the original booking.
Cancellation
Cancellations must be made in writing via email. Cancellation should be made as soon as you know you cannot fulfil the agreement. If no cancellation protection has been purchased, no refund will be issued. For cancellation protection to apply, it must be purchased at the time of booking, and the booking must be fully paid. The following applies:
Cancellation protection SEK 295
If cancellation is made up to 10 days before arrival, you may cancel without documentation and receive 90% of the rental amount refunded, minus the cancellation protection fee and any booking fee. Cancellations due to illness or accident later than this may be made up to the day before arrival, valid documentation from a doctor, authority or insurance company must be submitted.
What are my rights?
If we breach the agreement, serious disruptions or the service otherwise deviating from the information we have given or what you could reasonably have expected, you have the right to demand redress, a price reduction or cancellation. A breach of the agreement or other service failing that is due to reasons outside our control does not entitle you to compensation according to this agreement (see the point on limits of the campsite control responsibility below). If a fault arises during your stay, it shall be reported to us immediately so that we have the chance to remedy it. If you do not report a fault, you cannot claim compensation.
What am I responsible for?
During your stay, you are responsible for taking good care of the accommodation/ camping pitch and following the rules and regulations that apply. You are responsible for all damage that occurs to the accommodation/camping site because you or someone in your party hasbeen neglectful. It is not allowed to use the accommodation/camping site for anything else or let more people stay overnight than what was agreed upon at the time of the booking.
You must clean the accommodation in accordance with the instructions. If the accommodation is not cleaned accordingly, cleaning will be done at your expense. Please note that smoking is not allowed in any of our accommodations. Violation of the smoking ban entails decontamination costs for you as a tenant.
Limits of Liability
In the event of any emergency or unforeseen event not caused by – and outside of the control of the camping site (for example natural catastrophes, strikes, fires, acts of terrorism, or war), the camping site has the right to cancel any agreement and/or booking without liability to compensate for any cost it causes for the guest(s).
What happens if we do not agree?

The Personal Data Act – GDPR
We are responsible for processing the personal data you provide when booking a pitch (such as name, address, phone number). We will process the personal data for the purpose of administering the booking and payment and otherwise to fulfil our obligations and rights under the contracts entered with you. The data may be disclosed to debt collection agencies, authorities/courts for collection, determination and performance of your contractual obligations. You have the right, once a year and free of charge, upon written request, to be informed of the data recorded, how they are used, where the data has been obtained from and to be informed of any recipients to whom the data have been disclosed. You have the right to request at any time the rectification of any inaccurate or altered data. If you give your active consent, we may use the personal data for marketing our activities.
Right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal according to the Act (2005:59) on Distance and Doorstep Selling exempts agreements on accommodation, lodging and leisure activities and you can thereby not reverse an agreement on renting a pitch for a tent, caravan or motorhome.
